Dynamics CRM: Composite Address Field vs Multiple Lookup Fields

When using a lookup view for an entity in Dynamics CRM (for example, a lookup to Accounts), occasionally the user will run in to situations where the options displayed are a long list of the same company names, sometimes also in the same city. One solution is to add additional columns to further identify the account, but that can lead to scrolling right/left to view the columns.

An alternative to adding multiple fields is to use a composite Address field to display information in the Lookup list. As users hover over the entries in the list they will see a complete address and can confirm they are selecting the correct account.
