It’s always the simple little things that sometimes take the most time. When sorting your columns in Microsoft Dynamics CRM in a view instead of doing them individually one at a time there is a way to sort multiple columns in that view. For today’s tip we will go through the simple process of doing a multiple column sort.
- Click on the first column header
- Hold down “shift” key
- Click on the second column header
Now you will have a second column as the sub-group of the first. Note: You can sort any number of columns until you get the right data groups.
This works for Entity views:
Subgrids on forms (for form may highlight funny but it will still work – to remove the unwanted highlighting click anywhere on the form:
Views opened from dashboards:
