Jo Ann de Ruiter, MCP, Joins ACE Microtechnology, Inc. as GP Consultant
ATLANTA, GA, MAY 2015 – ACE Microtechnology, Inc. (ACE) a global business and technology services firm that provides Microsoft Dynamics Solutions - Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains), has welcomed a new team member – Jo Ann de Ruiter, MCP.
Jo, a Microsoft Certified Professional, brings over 24 years of experience to include Project Management, Accounting, Finance, Consulting, Business Analysis, Operational Management, System Administration and Process Improvement. Her years working as a Controller have provided her with a great foundation for Consulting, Business Analysis, Project Management and Process/Procedure Improvement. Her many years as a System Administrator have allowed her to associate complex business needs with automated solutions. She has a great deal of experience in solving common business issues pertaining to Process Improvement. One of Jo’s most valuable abilities is Financial Reporting and Report Design in a number of solutions including: FRx, Management Reporter SSRS, and BI360.
At the very beginning of Jo’s career in Accounting she proved invaluable to a national real estate management firm by writing a very complex Budget spreadsheet program allowing the national budgeting process for over 300 properties to be streamlined saving several hundred man-hours. For her efforts she was awarded Rookie of the year. Since then she has served as Senior Accountant, perfecting her knowledge of GAP and as a Senior Payroll Administrator wherein she automated the payroll process increasing accuracy and efficiency by 95% for the company. She has served as Controller for several companies in several industries. She served as System Administrator and Senior Accountant for one firm for more than 8 years utilizing GP and related products. As a consultant, having worked with several other Microsoft Partners she has utilized all of the valuable knowledge and experience gained in her career to assist over 100 companies in varied industries. This consulting experience includes implementation, upgrading, configuration and maintenance of GP. She is also adept at streamlining processes and procedures and implementing and configuring several ISV products to assist in the technical capabilities of these companies. She possesses in-depth knowledge of: MS Office, Several Integration solutions, Dynamics GP, SQL, FRx, Management Reporter, and a great many 3rd Party add-on’s to Dynamics GP.
