How cool is that?
So, last week I received an email, as did many others, welcoming them to the new Association of Dynamics Professionals. If you had registered your interest when they were first putting their website up, I assume you were one of the ones who received this email.
The email suggested to update your profile and log in to the new website etc., so I went ahead and gave it a try, always the keener! I knew I wanted to register for the exams coming up at reImagine 2015 in September, so I figured I would check out the new website, and then sign up.
While I was there, I noticed that there were two types of memberships– an associate (free) and a professional (for a small cost). The professional membership seemed like a no-brainer, and “investing” in the new association was important to me.
Well, imagine my surprise when Bob McAdam tweeted shortly after that I was the first Professional Member ever! Cool!
Today I also was mentioned in the Dynamics Pros first tweet ever, double cool… did I mention small things amuse me?
In all seriousness, that was a pleasant surprise, but at the end of the day, I’m proud to be a professional member of the new association, first or otherwise. I’m looking forward to taking both of the exams in September at reImagine, and hopefully be among the first to pass the very first exams!
